In a scintillating display of seam bowling, Raj Limbani ignited India's charge in the U19 World Cup final against Australia in Benoni on Sunday, February 11. The right-arm seamer produced an immaculate delivery to dismantle Australian opener Sam Konstas for an eight-ball duck. Under the leadership of Hugh Weibgen, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first. Limbani, entrusted with the new ball, immediately applied pressure by conceding just one run in his opening over.

He relentlessly piled on the pressure, leaving Konstas struggling to find his footing. Despite facing several deliveries, Konstas failed to break free from the tight grip imposed by Limbani. Attempting to break the shackles, Konstas aimed for a fluent drive on a fuller delivery. However, the 19-year-old's impeccable inswing deceived him, threading the needle between bat and pad to rattle the stumps, sending Konstas back to the pavilion.

Here's the video of Limbani dismissing Konstas:

Raj Limbani continues to impress in U-19 World Cup

The youthful right-arm seamer continued to trouble the Australian top order with his consistent line and length, exploiting the swinging conditions to full effect. He bowled a tight spell of five overs in the ongoing contest, conceding a mere twelve runs while claiming a crucial wicket. Limbani's stellar performance follows his impressive three-wicket haul in India's tense semi-final victory over South Africa.

The young pacer has once again proven his mettle with the new ball, providing vital breakthroughs in the title clash. In response to Harry Dixon's assault on Naman Tiwari, skipper Uday Saharan turned to Saumy Pandey, the team's leading wicket-taker, to stem the flow of runs. The Australian U19 side stands at 100 for three after 23 overs, with Harjas Singh and Ryan Hicks looking to consolidate after two quick wickets.
