Afghanistan's sensation Rashid Khan set the tone in the ongoing Shpageeza Cricket League with a brilliant performance for the Speen Ghar Tigers. Despite his team's loss to the Amo Sharks, Rashid's explosive batting left spectators in awe.

The Shpageeza Cricket League, Afghanistan's premier domestic T20 tournament, has been a platform for showing local talent and nurturing the upcoming cricketers. As captain of both the national team and the Speen Ghar Tigers, Rashid's performances carry significant weight in promoting Afghan cricket globally.

In a rain-affected match at the Kabul International Stadium, he smashed a range of sixes. Facing a challenging target of 167 runs, the Tigers were in a tricky situation at 20/5 in just 2.4 overs. It was then that the allrounder displayed his brilliance with the bat.

The 25-year-old smashed his way to the tournament's fastest fifty, scoring 53 runs off just 26 balls at a strike rate of 203.84. His innings included three fours and six sixes, along with some innovative shots, including the 'no-look' sixes and an attempt at the iconic 'helicopter shot'.

Partnering with Ikram Ali Khil, Rashid stitched a 73-run stand that got the Tigers back in the game. He hammered three sixes in four deliveries off Mohammad Gul Alizai before finally being dismissed in the ninth over.
