India will take on Bangladesh in second Test from September 27.

Team India is hard at work preparing for the upcoming Test against Bangladesh. Both sides will take on each other in the second Test of the ongoing series at the Green Park, Kanpur, from September 27. The first Test of the series was won by the Indian team after the side put in an excellent performance in Chennai. 

Ahead of the second Test, team India is honing its skills in preparation to win the match and the series. Batting in the nets, a moment between star India batters Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill went viral. 

In the video, which has been making the rounds all over social media, Rishabh Pant was captured bowling in the nets to Shubman Gill. Seeing him bowl, KL Rahul asked him if he had bowled in the Delhi Premier League, to which Pant agreed. Furthermore, Shubman Gill admitted that Rishabh Pant helped him hone his batting skills with his bowling.

India look to clinch series in Kanpur

Team India looked to be in exceptional form in the first Test against Bangladesh. The game began with the hosts’ top-order departing early. However, the likes of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja helped the side post a total of 376 runs in the first innings of the game. 

To follow it up, India bundled out Bangladesh for 149 runs, maintaining a good chunk of lead, and declared on a score of 287 runs in the second innings, giving the visitors a target of 515 runs to chase down. 

Eventually, India managed to limit Bangladesh on a score of 234 runs, winning the game by 280 runs and gaining the advantage in the series. Having won the first Test, the Rohit Sharma-led side will hope for a similar showing in Kanpur and aim at clinching the series.
