Watch: Rishabh Pant teases Kuldeep Yadav during Duleep Trophy 2024

During the ongoing Duleep Trophy 2024 match between India A and India B at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru a lighthearted moment took place between star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and spinner Kuldeep Yadav. The 2024 edition of the prestigious tournament has garnered attention due to the presence of key international players like Pant, KL Rahul, and Yadav, all eager to prove their form and fitness. 

As Yadav walked out to bat at number 8 for India A on Day 3, Pant couldn't resist the opportunity for some friendly banter. Pant approached Kuldeep with a mischievous smile, placing his hands on the spinner's shoulders in a light-hearted gesture. 

Despite the southpaw's attempts to engage him in conversation, Kuldeep remained focused on his batting responsibilities. However, Pant tried to have a friendly chat with his Delhi Capitals teammate.

Kuldeep's stay at the crease was short-lived, as he was trapped lbw by Mukesh Kumar after scoring just one off 14. This dismissal put India A in a tricky position, struggling at 201 for 7 after 58 overs in response to India B's first innings total of 321.

The match has seen some notable performances, particularly from India B's Musheer Khan, who played a stellar innings of 181 runs. Navdeep Saini also contributed significantly with a half-century batting at number 9. For India A, Rahul, who has been under scrutiny, managed a modest 37 runs off 111 balls before being dismissed by Washington Sundar.
