Rohit Sharma is known for his on-field antics and the India skipper provides fans hilarious incidents to savour. In one such instance, Rohit was seen hitting Shubman Gill’s jaw while explaining something to him.

Virat Kohli , seated beside, reacted to Rohit’s act with a sheepish smile, informing him that they all are visible on the screen. Later, India head coach Gautam Gambhir could also be seen in splits. The video of the same is going viral on social media. For the unversed, India ended the Day 3 of the first Test against Bangladesh on a high. They posted a humongous target of 515 before declaring.

Gill overtakes Virat Kohli with a ton

Speaking of Gill, the right-handed batter dazzled with a century on Day 3. He remained unbeaten on 119 facing 176 deliveries laced with 10 boundaries and four maximums.

The 25-year-old also became the batter with most number centuries for India in the World Test Championship. He overtook Virat Kohli to achieve this feat. This was also his fifth three-figure mark in Test cricket. Overall, the Chennai ton was rhe Punjab batter's 12 century as he overtook the likes of Babar Azam and Joe Root (11 each), to become the batter with most number of tons since 2022.

Bangladesh were off to a good start chasing the daunting target. Zakir Hassan and Shadman Islam put up 62 runs for the first wicket. But with four quick wickets, India got back into the game and need just six wickets on Day 4.
