Five members of the Indian team which won the T20 World Cup 2024 under the leadership of Rohit Sharma were recently invited to the popular Indian talk show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, hosted by famous comedian, Kapil Sharma. Rohit was accompanied by Arshdeep Singh, Suryakumar Yadav, Axar Patel, and Shivam Dube as members of the Indian team.

Kapil had an engaging mimicry segment added for the lot, as each cricketer had to guess the personality's name based on the acts performed by one of the other guests. Rohit's placard had the legendary MS Dhoni's name on it, and he was left to guess the name based on Axar's actions.

Left-handed all-rounder, Axar, took on the stance of a right-hander for the act. He appeared to have hit Dhoni's iconic World Cup-winning six at Wankhede in 2011. However, Rohit was not able to take the hint as Suryakumar stepped up from the sofa to proceed to enact the celebrated shot to perfection, post which Rohit immediately guessed the name.

"Yeh toh sabhi chhakka maarte hai aesa yaar. Thode alag tareeke se kar (All players hit a six like this. Enact in a different way)," stated Rohit post Axar was done with his emulation.

"Dikhau kya? Dikhaata hu. Turant pakad lenge (Should I do it? I will do it. [Rohit] will be able to connect the dots at once]," mentioned a confident Yadav, as he got up from the sofa to take the bat from Axar.

"Arey bhai toh helicopter ghuma na (Should've imitated the Helicopter Shot)," responded Rohit, as the crowd as well as the cricketers on stage were left in splits.
