Rohit Sharma-led India won the first ODI against England at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur on Thursday, February 6, by four wickets with 68 balls to spare. Despite the victory, Rohit faced criticism as he failed to end his barren run with the bat.

After the match, the cameras captured Rohit and head coach Gautam Gambhir having an intense discussion which has led to curiosity among fans as well as experts. While there is no clarity regarding the topic of discussion, the video has taken social media platforms by storm.

Watch the video below:

India registered an ODI victory after 449 days on the back of an all-around effort against Jos Buttler and Co. England won the toss and got off to a flying start thanks to openers Phil Salt and Ben Duckett. The former was the more aggressive of the batters as he took debutant Harshit Rana for 26 runs in the sixth over.

Salt raced to 43 off 26 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes. However, his innings came to an unfortunate end as he was run out after a miscommunication with Duckett. England lost three wickets for just two runs as India produced a strong comeback. Joe Root also failed to make his much-anticipated ODI comeback memorable as he perished for 19.

Jos Buttler and Jacob Bethell smashed half-centuries and a cameo down the order from Jofra Archer helped England get to 248. They were bowled out with 14 balls to spare. Harshit and Ravindra Jadeja bagged three wickets apiece.

In reply, India lost their openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rohit cheaply. On 19/2, Shreyas Iyer and Shubman Gill joined forces. The former played a fluent knock of 59 off 36 balls to set a great platform for India. Axar Patel was promoted to No. 5 and he scored a 47-ball 52. Shubman top-scored with a 96-ball 87, hitting 14 fours but he got out when India were just 14 runs away from a win. KL Rahul was dismissed cheaply before Hardik Pandya and Jadeja took India home in the 39th over.
