Rohit Sharma's wife Ritika Sajdeh and daughter Samaira were in attendance at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium to cheer for the Indian team in the intense 2025 Champions Trophy final on Sunday, March 9.

After India got the better of New Zealand by four wickets in a thrilling final, Ritika and Samaira came onto the field to celebrate the significant triumph with Rohit. Samaira did not want to let go of his father as he kept hugging Rohit. The doting father was in no hurry as he understood how much the moment meant for the little one.

After receiving the iconic white jacket and the winners' medal, an ecstatic Rohit came back to his family as they soaked in the applause from the spectators. The 37-year-old put the medal around his daughter's neck. The heartwarming video has been receiving a lot of love from the fans on social media.

Rohit leads from the front in final

Rohit Sharma had only scored 104 runs from the first four matches in the Champions Trophy 2025 at an average of 26.00. However, the Indian skipper led by example in the title decider, scoring a sensational half-century to orchestrate a famous win.

On a tricky surface, the Asian giants restricted the Kiwis to 251/7 in their 50 overs. Varun Chakaravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav bagged two wickets apiece for the Men in Blue. Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell scored contrasting half-centuries for the Blackcaps.

Rohit smashed a 41-ball fifty at the top of the order. He was eventually dismissed for 76 off 83 deliveries, belting seven fours and three sixes. Shreyas Iyer (48), KL Rahul (34*), and Shubman Gill (31) played important knocks as India reached home with an over to spare.
