In International cricket, we see some fielders trying to attempt a catch while off-balanced inside the boundary. In doing so, they throw the ball towards their teammate to complete the catch. However, during a Tennis ball match in India, a fielder took a fielder attempted a catch in a rather Shaolin Soccer-style while fielding on the boundary ropes.
In a video that went viral on social media, the batsman can be seen striking the ball through the mid-wicket region toward the boundary, where the fielder jumps to grab the ball. Albeit, after realising that he was too close to the boundary line, he tossed the ball up while being inside the boundary by kicking the ball high in the air towards his teammate, who then completes the catch. The crowd present there applauded the fielder's valiant acrobatic effort.
