Mumbai Indians (MI) are hosting Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Thursday, April 11. During the second innings of the clash, Virat Kohli reacted to the demand of some fans, who wanted him to bowl.
After RCB posted 196/8 in their first innings, Mumbai Indians' opening duo of Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came out all guns blazing as they didn't spare any opposition bowler. A hapless Faf du Plessis struggled to put a lid on the run-scoring as the two elegant openers dealt with consummate ease to whatever was being thrown at them.

The fans at the Wankhede Stadium suggested a unique idea to the RCB captain as they chanted: "Kohli ko bowling do". This isn't the first time fans have come up with this chant at a stadium. Previously, in India's matches, skipper Rohit Sharma has received a similar demand from the fans. The video of fans chanting for Kohli to roll his arm over has gone viral in no time. The former India captain's hilarious reaction at the end has made the video even more endearing.
Kohli heard the chant from the fans and seemed to indicate that he was happy playing the role of a fielder and didn't want to bowl in front of two batters in rampaging form.

Virat Kohli gets out cheaply in the first innings as Jasprit Bumrah breathes fire
Current Orange Cap-holder Kohli was dismissed for 3 off nine balls by Jasprit Bumrah in the first innings. This was the first time the legendary batter got out for a single-digit score in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Bumrah went on to take a five-for but Dinesh Karthik's scintillating half-century helped the visitors reach a fighting total of 196/8 in their 20 overs.

Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma stitched a 101-run partnership inside the first nine overs before the former was dismissed by Akash Deep for a whirlwind 34-ball 69. However, the wicketkeeper-batter's phenomenal knock put the five-time champions in a position of strength.
