India-Pakistan in different spectrums in T20 World Cup 2024
Speaking of the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team has been in brilliant form in the three games that they have played in the tournament so far. Led by Rohit Sharma, India have taken on Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA so far and have registered wins in every game that they have played.
With six points in three matches, India lead Group A as they sit atop the standings. The side is closely followed by the co-hosts, the USA, who have also qualified for the knockout stages of the tournament.
On the other hand, Babar Azam-led Pakistan have had a forgettable campaign in the ongoing edition. Having played three games in the tournament so far, Pakistan have only managed to register one victory and have lost the remaining two matches, including an upset at the hands of the USA. The side currently finds themselves in third place in the standings with two points to their name and has been eliminated from the race to the Super Eights. Their upcoming game against Ireland will only prove to be a consolation for the Men in Green.
