MS Dhoni has been a constant feature of the Indian Premier League ever since its inception. Apart from a couple of years with Rising Pune Supergiant/s in 2016 and 2017, he has been the linchpin of Chennai Super Kings. Dhoni has led the franchise to five triumphs in the marquee T20 league. The superstar is undoubtedly one of the faces of the tournament, owing to his craze across the cricket fraternity.

In a recent event, the World Cup-winning skipper was one of the guests alongside Indian wicketkeeper-batter, Sanju Samson

"Answering your question, when 'thoda aur' (little more) things were going around like Mahi bhai  was talking about getting some vegetables and fruits and all those examples he was giving, toh mere mann mein aa raha tha ki Mahi bhai jab IPL khelne aate hai so people keep talking about when is he retiring. (I was getting a thought in mind that whenever Dhoni comes to play in the IPL, people keep discussing about his retirement)," shared Samson during the event with Dhoni sitting alongside him.

"So, mere mann mein I'm like, thoda aur bhaiya, thoda aur! So, that's the example which I had in my mind. Honestly, like each and everyone here, I think if you ask them the same question, of course our Indian mentality is to get thoda aur," added Samson.
