[WATCH] 'Whether winning or losing, he walks in with same passion' - KL Rahul lauds Virat Kohli's mindset

Delhi Capitals' (DC) batter KL Rahul lauded his India teammate Virat Kohli's mindset ahead of their clash against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2025. Rahul acknowledged that Kohli is one of the most passionate cricketers and brings a different energy on the ground as soon as he steps onto it.

Rahul also spoke about the game mentality of Kohli and how it feels to play with or against him in any form of cricket. Kohli and Rahul have been good friends ever since the latter was a part of RCB back in 2013. Kohli has always extended his support for Rahul during media interactions.

"You don't see him change a lot, right? Whether he is winning or whether he's losing, he always walks in with the same passion and intensity. He is a very competitive guy, and you know that when you play with him. You know how competitive he is. You feel like you have to pick your intensity up to his level. That's the control and the power he has over the teams," Rahul told Star Sports.

Rahul is currently playing for Delhi Capitals in the IPL under Axar Patel. The Capitals are at the top of the table and are undefeated in the tournament so far. Meanwhile, RCB are in the third position of the points table with three wins in four matches. If they win the game against DC, they will be the new table toppers. The team looks good under skipper Rajat Patidar and have won all three away matches, which is exceptional. Hence, it will be interesting to see on whose side the upcoming game ends.
