Ben Stokes-led England are in the driver's seat in the ongoing Headingley Test, with the Three Lions expected to register their first win of the ongoing Ashes series. Chasing a par total, veteran seamer Stuart Broad has reckoned that the batter will treat it as an ODI match on the fourth day.
Despite rain eating up a major chunk of the third day, England made a resounding comeback in the match, thanks to seam-bowling-friendly conditions in Leeds. Although Travis Head made an invaluable contribution with the bat while batting with the Australian tail, England are the favourites to get one over the visitors at Headingley.
Chasing a par total of 251 runs, England got off to a decent start as the two openers saw off the threat of Aussie seamers without much fuss. Heading into the fourth day, senior pacer Stuart Broad revealed that the home side will approach it as a 50-over game, given the weather forecast at the venue.

"We will just be adjusting to what conditions come our way. We know here at Headingley that if the clouds are around the ball can nip around a little bit, but if the sun comes out it is generally a bit flatter. We will sort of take out chasing like a 50-over approach and 250 in 50 overs, you know you are encouraged.
I thought the guys (Crawley and Duckett) played beautifully last night. They set the tone really nicely because they are horrible sessions for an opening batter, the 20-minute sessions. It will be about having that sort of intent and boundary striking to get us home," Broad said to Sky Sports ahead of the fourth day.
