The West Indies A squad touched base in Nepal as they gear up to face the home team for a five-match T20 series, in a bid to test their bench strength as well as gain some valuable experience ahead of the imminent T20 World Cup 2024 to kick off in June later this year.
In a surprising development, the Men in Maroon were seen trolleying their luggage and kits outside the Tribhuvan International Airport and loading them onto a small pick up truck. Subsequently, they boarded the bus and left from the airport.
It is not a common occurrence anymore where international teams' luggage is loaded onto vehicles other than buses. As a result, it caught the eye of the fans and the video of the same has gone viral.

The West Indians will be without the services of a few regulars including the likes of Rovman Powell, Andre Russell, Nicholas Pooran, Romario Shepherd, Shimron Hetmyer, Kyle Mayers, Sherfane Rutherford, and Alzarri Joseph as they are involved with their IPL franchises in the ongoing 17th edition of the league.
All five games are slated to be played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Four of the five T20Is are to be played on successive days, with this series sure to serve as a vital learning curve for both the sides as far as their cricketing expedition is concerned.
