'Why are you surprised with that?' - Virat Kohli reflects on his 103-meter six against Sunrisers Hyderabad
Kohli scored a magnificent 63-ball 100 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 18.
RCB batter Virat Kohli reflected on his gigantic 103-meter six from the IPL 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on May 18. Kohli scored a magnificent 63-ball 100 and was involved in 172-run opening stand with skipper Faf du Plessis. The latter also played a magnificent knock, scoring 71 off 47 balls to help RCB win by eight wickets.
Kohli scored his sixth IPL hundred with the help of 12 boundaries and four maximums. One of the sixes he smashed against SRH pacer Nitish Reddy went for a huge distance of 103 meters. Kohli reflected on his shot in the dressing room following the victory that took RCB into the top four in the points table with one game left.
"103m, I am taking that with me. Why are you surprised with that? That is my biggest six this season so I will take it anyways. I almost hit a wide for a six in the end, almost went for six," Kohli was heard saying in a video released by the franchise.

We are not surprised: Maxwell praises Kohli-du Plessis pair
RCB all-rounder Glenn Maxwell heaped praise on Kohli and du Plessis, describing their exploits against SRH as something the team is used to. He stated that the team is not at all surprised by their massive opening stand.
"That was brilliant, we are trying to keep a lid on it and stay calm. Stay calm, relaxed, just another day. Got six of these so, 150 run-partnership no biggie. It is what they do, we are not surprised. The rest of us are not surprised. They just need to keep doing it," Maxwell said.
