Star Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is most definitely known for his hilarious antics off the pitch. Despite being one of India’s aces up their sleeves in the shortest format, Chahal is known more for his off-field behaviour than his performances. As the Indian team is currently competing in a three-match ODI series against the West Indies, Chahal once again captured everyone’s attention.

This time by launching a death stare at Ravindra Jadeja. In a hilarious moment that happened during the first innings of the second ODI as Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra were seen sharing a light moment. After a 90-run opening stand, the Indian team lost five wickets within 23 deliveries.

However, with the fifth wicket also came rain. As play was disrupted and Jadeja (who was the next batter) dropped his batting gear, Chahal walked up to the veteran all-rounder and launched a death stare. Jadeja stared back before breaking into a laugh as both shared a wholesome moment. The clip of the incident has been doing the rounds on social media.

Shai Hope’s brilliance helped West Indies win second ODI

After a subpar performance with the bat in the first innings, the Indian team was bundled out for just 181 runs. With a reasonable target at hand, hosts the West Indies looked to put in a brilliant performance with the bat during the run chase, and the side did just that. After the top order’s failure to go big and skipper Shai Hope and Keacy Carty’s unbeaten knocks of 63 and 48 runs, respectively, the Windies were able to chase the target down easily.

Winning the game by six wickets, the West Indies levelled the series 1-1 and left it all to play for in the final ODI of the series. After their loss in the two Tests, the hosts will be desperate to clinch the 50-over series ahead of the five T20Is. Both sides will now face each other in the third ODI of the series on Tuesday, August 1, at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy.
