‘With young and energetic SKY (Mr. 360°)’ - UP CM Yogi Adityanath shares picture with Suryakumar Yadav at official residence

World’s No. 1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav visited the residence of Yogi Adityanath, a day after playing the match-winning knock against the Kiwis in the second T20I of the ongoing three-match series. The UP CM posted a picture with him on his official Twitter handle with the caption, ‘With young and energetic SKY (Mr. 360°) at official residence, Lucknow.’

In a photo, Surya and the UP CM can be seen holding a bouquet. The post went viral as soon as it was shared on Instagram. It is to be noted that the Yogi Adityanath was also present in the Ekana stadium during the 2nd T20I match.

The 32-year-old scored an unbeaten 26 off 31 deliveries and won the game for India with a boundary in the second last ball of the innings, chasing 100 runs at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

The Men in Blue restricted the visitors to 99 runs in 20 overs by taking 8 wickets in a do-or-die encounter after losing the first game by 21 runs. Arshdeep Singh was the leading wicket-taker for the hosts by putting two wickets in his bag in the spell of two overs conceding just 7 runs. Skipper Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Deepak Hooda, and Kuldeep Yadav bagged a wicket each.

The Blackcaps also put on a tremendous fight with the ball defending a low total and took the match to the last over with Michael Bracewell and Ish Sodhi being the only wicket-takers. India made 101 runs in 19.5 overs losing 4 wickets and leveled the three-match series by 1-1.

The final T20I and the decider of the series will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on the 1st of February. After that, Men in Blue will be taking on Australia for the four-match Test series followed by the three-match ODI series.
