India is abuzz with excitement as it prepares to host the MotoGP Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. This historic event, dubbed the "MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix," is set to kick off on September 22 and culminate on September 24. The Buddh International Circuit, originally constructed in 2011 to accommodate Formula One races, has undergone modifications to meet the rigorous demands of MotoGP racing while enhancing safety measures.

The circuit, measuring over five kilometers in length, stands as one of the fastest on the MotoGP calendar, with machines reaching top speeds exceeding 300 km/h (186 mph). One can sense the palpable anticipation as fans gear up to witness some of the world's most exhilarating riders vie for championship glory, including the likes of Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia.

The Italian racing sensation, who has graced India with his presence for this spectacular event, was recently spotted wielding a cricket bat ahead of the marquee race and in the light of upcoming Cricket world Cup 2023 held in India. Ducati Corse's official 'X' handle shared a light-hearted moment, where Bagnaia engaged in some cricketing fun.

“Let’s say cricket isn’t really @PeccoBagnaia’s cup of tea! But, for sure, he had some fun there. Thanks for it, @MotoGPBharat! #IndianGP #ForzaDucati #DucatiLenovoTeam,” the post was captioned.

Cricket took center stage as Bagnaia tried his hand at bowling a few deliveries, followed by attempts to wield the cricket bat, all against the backdrop of wickets set up on the iconic Indian track of Buddh, nestled on the outskirts of New Delhi.

Meanwhile, MotoGP superstar Marc Marquez embarked on a unique adventure, taking the reins of a sidecar as he gave former cricket champion Suresh Raina an exhilarating ride around the circuit. This unmissable spectacle surely left the fans in awe.
