Ellyse Perry unleashed mayhem during Royal Challengers Bangalore’s match against UP Warriorz at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore, on March 4. She took UP bowlers to the cleaners with her 37-ball 58. While her onslaught was palpable, one of her towering sixes pierced through the TATA Punch.ev car’s window, which was displayed on the boundary as the Player of the Series award.

Almost 11 days down the line, TATA Motors have come up with a heart-warming gesture. They have framed the broken glass window and presented it to the Australian all-rounder. While doing so, they did not forget to add some wit to it, as they captioned the frame by writing “PerryPowerfulPunch”.

Here's the picture of TATA presenting Perry the broken glass frame:

Speaking of RCB, they have stormed into the grand finale of the Women’s Premier League after defeating the defending champions Mumbai Indians on Friday. Coincidently, they played their last league match against the same team, which opened the doors of knockouts for the Smriti Mandhana-led side. They will now face Delhi Capitals in the summit clash, who have topped the league stage.

RCB clinch thriller to storm into WPL 2024 finals

RCB’s captain Smriti Mandhana was in tears after her team made it to the finals of WPL 2024 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi. Batting first, Bangalore posted a modest total of 135 runs in front of a formidable Mumbai batting line-up. Chasing a very gettable target, MI got off to a brilliant start. At one point, with Harmanpreet Kaur and Amelia Kerr at the crease, MI were cruising towards the target.

RCB though, made a late comeback as they dismissed the MI skipper at the right time. The final three overs demanded just 20 runs from the MI batters with Kerr at the crease. Thanks to Sophie Molineux’s bowling variations, MI’s power hitter Sajeevan Sajana was back in the hut. Later on, Asha Shobana displayed nerves of steel as she defended the 12 runs in the final over by conceding just 7 runs.
