The ongoing World Test Championship Final between Australia and India witnessed an angry reaction from the crowd at The Oval when star Australian all-rounder Cameron Green came to bowl. The fans at the venue, especially the Indian contingent, displayed their anger towards the young Aussie because of his controversial catch that saw the end of Shubman Gill's innings.

Australia landed a big blow to India's chances after ending Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill's breezy opening stand. The young Indian opener, who misjudged a delivery in the first innings, was on the receiving end of a sublime catch from Cameron Green. However, replays showed a part of the ball to be touching the ground while Green went for the catch.

But the third umpire, quite hastily, gave Gill his marching orders, providing a crucial breakthrough for the Aussies in the summit clash. The fans at The Oval supporting the Asian Giants were aggrieved by that decision as they felt that the Indian opener was on the end of the wrong call.

They made sure that the Aussie all-rounder knew about their feelings as they started chanting the word 'Cheat' repeatedly when Green handed the ball in the final session of the fourth day.

A full house crowd at The Oval are in for an exciting finish

Following Gill's departure, skipper Rohit Sharma steadied the ship for India with a solid stand with Cheteshwar Pujara. However, both the set batters departed in quick succession to dampen Indian spirits. That is when former Indian skipper Virat Kohli forged a crucial 71-run stand with comeback man Ajinkya Rahane to see off Australia's threat on the fourth day. India are still way behind Australia's daunting target but with the pitch playing no tricks on the batters, Australia will be wary of the Indian pair on the fifth and final day of the summit clash.
