'Your presence means a lot to all of us'- Mumbai Indians players send heartfelt birthday wish for Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is recognised by many as one of the greatest cricket players of all time. The Master Blaster turned 50 years old on Monday, April 24, 2023. Many former and current players have wished the legendary India on his special day and the social media has been loaded with wishes from all over the cricket fraternity.
On the occasion of his 50th birthday, his former Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Mumbai Indians (MI) also extended their heartfelt wishes. The current players of the franchise also shared their fond memories of some of Tendulkar’s best moments throughout his two-decade career.
In a video posted by MI on their official Twitter handle, almost all of the players, including captain Rohit Sharma, were seen wishing Master Blaster. Rohit said that Tendulkar has influenced many people throughout the world and he wished him all the best on behalf of the franchise. The 35-year-old batter also stated that Tendulkar's presence in the MI camp means a lot to the team.
"Sachi paaji, many many returns of the day. So, on behalf of the Mumbai Indians family, I just want to wish you the best. You have inspired so many people around the world. Your presence here means a lot to all of us," said MI skipper Rohit Sharma.

Here's how other MI players wished Tendulkar on his 50th birthday
"When you meet him from a close distance, it is a different vibe. Many happy returns of the day Sachin sir and I wish you good health always," Tilak Varma, the young rising star from MI, said.
Australia batter Tim David said, " I enjoy my pitch reports from you, talking about golf, talking about other things. Happy birthday Sachin. 50! It's a big number and you know it's so nice for us to be able to have a relationship with you."
Young South Africa batting sensation Dewald Brewis said, "Sachin sir is someone I looked up to. I just want to say Sachin sir, happy birthday."
"Sachin sir, I wish you a very happy birthday," said MI's young wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan.
Later, MI players David, Piyush Chawla, Brevis, and Tilak, among others, shared photos of Tendulkar's iconic career moments and talked about it. His 'Desert Storm' against Australia in Sharjah in 1998, his 98-run knock against Pakistan in the 2003 World Cup, becoming the first-ever double centurion in one-day internationals against South Africa, winning the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2011 and walking out for his final international match against West Indies in 2013 were among the images shared.
