India's ace leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal recently humorously mimicked Pakistan's captain Mohammad Rizwan during Punjab Kings' (PBKS) training session ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Chahal, who was bought by PBKS for a whopping INR 18 crore in the IPL 2025 mega-auction, was seen having fun with his teammates during a practice session. In a video he shared on PBKS' social media, the leg spinner mimicked the Pakistan skipper's iconic line, “Oh Yes, its a two.” He also teased his teammate Shashank Singh while walking up to the crease, "Darr gye kya (Are you afraid of me)?" before imitating Rizwan’s memorable phrase.

Meanwhile, the spin maestro had a string of stellar performances in IPL 2024, taking 18 wickets in 15 matches, and the Rajasthan Royals chose not to retain him. This led to his inclusion in the mega-auction, where Punjab secured his services for a hefty price.
The leggie's international career has seen on a slump since August 2023, when he last represented India in a T20I series against the West Indies. Even though he was part of India’s squad for the T20 World Cup 2024, he did not get a single game in the tournament. Looking to make a strong comeback, the Haryana bowler has been actively playing domestic cricket, taking 10 wickets in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy at an impeccable strike rate of 15.00.
With a new franchise, the 34-year-old will be eager to deliver match-winning performances for the Punjab-based side. The side will be happy to have him in the squad as he will strengthen their bowling arsenal. Chahal is the highest wicket-taker in the history of the competition, with 205 wickets in 160 matches.
