Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge blessed with baby boy

Legendary Indian pacer Zaheer Khan and his actress wife Sagarika Ghatge have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, and announced the news on social media on Wednesday, April 16.

The couple has named their son Fatehsinh Khan, and their announcement post, featuring a photo of the trio, with Zaheer cradling the baby in his lap while Sagarika wrapping her arms around him, was captioned, "With love, gratitude and divine blessings we welcome our precious little baby boy, Fatehsinh Khan."

Sagarika and Zaheer first made their relationship public in 2016 at Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech’s wedding, before tying the knot in 2017. Recently, the actress revealed that the cricketer was initially hesitant to even speak to her. 

“I think we kept meeting and he wouldn't even talk to me at first because everyone used to say, ‘You know, she's that kind of girl.' I don't know exactly what they meant by that, maybe that you should only talk to her if you are really serious; otherwise, there's no point,” she revealed in a chat with Bollywood Bubble.

Over the years, the couple has maintained a relatively private life. Sagarika, known for her performances in Chak De India, Fox, and Miley Naa Miley Hum, have stepped away from films for a few years and now runs their clothing label, Akutee.

Zaheer, meanwhile, continues to remain active with the sport. He currently serves as the mentor and bowling coach for Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League, following stints with Mumbai Indians and as a player with Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), and Mumbai Indians. He has been an active commentator besides the coaching stints.
