Sofia Hayat responds to the tweets of her alleged relation with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli

Rohit Sharma, the experienced Indian batsman, is currently married to Ritik Sajdeh and recently the couple became proud parents of a baby daughter. The 31-year-old had to go back to Mumbai midway through the Australia tour in order to attend his pregnant wife. He missed the fourth and final Test against the Aussies at the SCG before coming back for the three-match ODI series, which India won.

In the meantime, a startling revelation surrounding the Nagpur-born cricketer’s love-life has come to the fore. Sofia Hayat, a popular actress and model, said that she was dating Rohit and also put forth how they initially communicated with each other. The former Bigg Boss contestant, who is currently working on a book, later mentioned that their relationship got over and she’s searching for a ‘gentleman’.

It went pretty quickly from there

“I met him in a club in London. I was celebrating the wrap of a movie I had done. I was dancing when a friend of mine from the movie’s set introduced us. My friend told me ‘he is Rohit Sharma’ but I really didn’t know as I don’t see cricket much. Anyway, we got talking to each other and soon moved over to a quieter place in the club. It went pretty quickly from there. He kissed me. It was pretty nice. After that, we danced together,” Sofia was quoted as saying in Spotboye.

Thereafter, people churned out some old tweets where even Virat Kohli’s, the Indian captain, name was mentioned. However, the 34-year-old has now come out and quashed all the doubts, pertaining to all the talks. Albeit she admitted that she was in a relationship with Rohit, she didn’t mince any words in saying that he had nothing with Virat. She also remarked that some of the tweets were photoshopped.

“I would like to respond to the media frenzy that’s going on in relation to Rohit and Virat. First of all, some of those tweets have been edited and photoshopped and were not written by me. Please don’t believe that,” Sofia mentioned in a video on Twitter.

“And secondly, anybody who is saying that they should be suspended is completely stupid because, first of all, nothing ever happened with Virat by the way. And secondly, with Rohit, we were seeing each other so there’s nothing wrong in that and it’s got nothing to do with any sort of suspension so can you please stop writing ridiculous stuff like that,” she added.

The 30-year-old Virat Kohli is currently married to Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma ever since December 2017 when they tied the knots in a destination wedding in Italy.
