The BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has taken the Indian cricket to a whole new level. The former Indian captain who took charge as BCCI captain in October has been working beyond the call of duty since then. He has manipulated the plans deftly so much so that even the fans who don’t turn up for the Test matches in India have arrived in large numbers for the historic pink-ball Test in the home of cricket, Eden Gardens.

Besides operating things in a professional manner, BCCI President has also confirmed that the first-class players will get the contracts they truly deserve and the state associations have also started working on it. Just days after the success of the pink-ball Test, Sourav Ganguly gave another positive update for the fans.

The 47-year-old added that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) would host an exhibition game between Asia XI and World XI at the new Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad in March.

Sourav Ganguly expresses his interest to make a biopic of him

The new stadium is being built at a whopping cost of Rs 700 crores and will become the biggest cricket stadium in the world with a capacity of 1.10 lakh. The Stadium will be ready by February. Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly has expressed his interest to make a biopic of him. There has been a common trend set in India that a biopic is created with legendary players.

Sushant Singh Rajput stole the spotlight after he played the role of Captain Cool in MS Dhoni’s biopic- ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. MS Dhoni’s biopic success also paid the way for other legendary cricketers to create their own. The World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev’s biopic ’83’ is expected to hit the screens in the new year in which Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is portraying his role.

There is also a strong possibility that the movie could also be made with Sourav Ganguly. The latter had also revealed which star actor he wants to see in his own biopic. During a recent talk show, he revealed that Hrithik Roshan is his favourite actor and he would want him to act in his role. “My favourite actor is Hrithik Roshan. He is most dear to me. I want him to act in my role,” Ganguly added.
