Bangladesh faced a tour whitewash as they lost their 7th and final International game on the tour losing by 83 runs after a blistering inning from David Miller. With help of Miller’s 36-ball 101* and Hashim Amla’s 85, South Africa posted a huge total of 224/4 in 20 overs. Bangladesh got wrapped up for just 141 in the reply.

1 – This game between South Africa and Bangladesh is the first in T20I history where the captains of both the sides got out in the bowling of opponent number. South Africa captain JP Duminy got out to Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan while Duminy returned the favour by dismissing Shakib in the 2nd innings.
2 – David Miller’s 35-ball hundred is his 2nd T20I century in less than 40 balls as he scored an IPL hundred in just 38. No other player has scored two T20I hundreds in less than 40 balls. In overall professional cricket, Miller is the 2nd player after Yusuf Pathan to score two hundreds in 40 or fewer balls.
4 – Number of instances of captains of both the teams opening the bowling in T20I cricket. The previous three are Windies-Pakistan and Afghanistan-Pakistan in 2013 and Hong Kong-Nepal in 2015.
5 – Number of consecutive sixes David Miller has hit in the 19th over of their innings against Mohammad Saifuddin. He is the 3rd player in T20I format and the 6th in International cricket to hit five sixes in a single over.
31 – The 31-run over by David Miller against Mohammad Saifuddin is the highest for South Africa in T20I cricket. Only Yuvraj Singh (36) and Evin Lewis (31) scored as many as 31 runs in a single over in T20I cricket.
35 – David Miller’s 35-ball century is the quickest in T20I history by breaking Richard Levi’s record of a century in 45 balls against New Zealand in 2012. His hundred is the joint 3rd quickest in overall Twenty20 cricket behind Chris Gayle (30) and Andrew Symonds (34).
83 – The 83-run margin is the 2nd highest by which Bangladesh have lost a T20I game. They lost to Pakistan in a T20I in Karachi by 102 runs in 2008. This is the 3rd biggest margin in terms of runs for South Africa after their 130-run win against Scotland and 84-run win against England with both coming in 2009.
224/4 – South Africa’s total of 224 is the highest Bangladesh have conceded in a T20I game. The previous highest T20I total for any team against Bangladesh was 204/5 by New Zealand in 2013.
