India Women ended their South Africa tour on high with a convincing 54-run win in the final game of the 5-match T20I series in Cape Town. With help of this win, the Indian eves clinched the series with a 3-1 margin after winning the ODI series by 2-1. Mithali Raj’s 62 and Jemimah Rodrigues’ 44 helped Indian Women to finish on 166/4 after losing the toss. The home team’s batting was dismantled for 112/10 by Rumeli Dhar, Shikha Pandey and Rajeshwari Gayakwad, all taking three wickets apiece.

3 – Only the 3rd time India Women won the ODI and T20I series on the same tour. They won the ODI and T20I series in the 2011 West Indies tour and also in the 2013 Bangladesh tour.
3 – Number of sixes by Mithali Raj in this game. She batted in 16 innings in Test cricket, 170 in ODIs and 65 in T20Is but this was the first time she hit more than two sixes in an International inning. The three sixes are also the joint-most by an Indian Women in a T20I inning.
