Akshath Reddy is an opening batter from the state of Hyderabad. His impressive domestic record earned him a place in the 2012’s Deccan chargers side and he was named in the Sunrisers&#8217; squad for their team&#8217;s inaugural edition.

Parthiv Patel, the Indian player, was the opening batter and the wicket-keeper of the newly formed team of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was a part of three teams since the inaugural IPL and he was retained by SRH from Deccan Chargers after its termination.

The Sri Lankan cricketing legend – Kumar Sangakkara &#8211; was the first captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since he was the captain of the Deccan Chargers side, he was directly posted as the skipper in SRH too.

The southpaw managed to score just 15 runs in the first match but made the team win by 22 runs using his captaincy skills. He culminated his IPL career in 2013 in SRH’s attire after playing 71 matches and has 1687 runs with ten fifties.

Sangakkara was appointed as the President of the MCC in 2019. He was the first non-British member to hold the post. He contributes to the sport in all the ways he could, as he is also a commentator. In 2021, he was named as the Director of Cricket of Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

Cameron White, the Australian middle-order-batter, is a hard-hitting player. He debuted in the IPL in 2008 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and after playing three seasons, he was bought by Deccan Chargers. He was then the second-highest-paid Aussie cricketer in the IPL after David Hussey.

The famous Sri Lankan all-rounder <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/lanka-premier-league-completes-successful-season-2-thisara-perera-and-shoaib-malik-laud-ipg-group-and-slc/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Thisara Perera</strong></a> was a part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise in 2013. He made his debut in the IPL in 2010 for Chennai Super Kings and after playing for Kochi Tuskers Kerala and Mumbai Indians, he was bought by SRH to fill in the vacant all-rounder slot.

Perera was the highest run-getter of the first match for SRH with 30 runs in 18 balls which included three fours and a six. With the ball, he also took two wickets giving away just 29 runs in four overs. He played a crucial part of the match-winning side.

In total, he played 37 IPL matches and has hit 422 runs with 31 wickets to his tally. This 32-year-old player played his last IPL match for Pune Supergiant in 2016. He recently retired from all the formats of international cricket, but he has been playing the other domestic leagues over the world.

His under-strike rate and performances couldn’t fetch him a stable position in the IPL. Vihari is still applying for the auction but the franchises are reluctant to pick him as he is now an established Test cricketer. Also, he is now a middle-order batter of the Indian Test side.

Ashish Reddy is an all-rounder from the soil of Hyderabad. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pace bowler. After becoming the side’s highest wicket-taker in the domestic season 2012-13, he was called forward to represent Deccan Chargers in 2012.

Reddy played some matches for the side and after disbanding the team, his contract was then renewed for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013. He only played a few matches that season as he sustained an injury.

On playing 31 IPL matches, he scored 280 runs at a strike rate of 145.08, and with the ball, he picked 18 wickets at an economy of 9.07. He was then retained by the side till 2016, as he played his last match against RCB. He was then obscured and played some domestic matches.

Dwaraka Ravi Teja is a right-handed opening batter of the Andhra Pradesh domestic team. He made his IPL debut for Deccan Chargers in 2008 against Kings XI Punjab.

Teja then continued his journey with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although he is an opening order batter by position, he was made to bat at number eight in the first match against Pune where he just scored four runs.

His IPL career stats lies at 375 runs in 32 matches with his highest score of 60. He did not feature in the IPL after 2013 and now plays for the Meghalaya side in first-class cricket.

<p>Ashish Reddy is an all-rounder from the soil of Hyderabad. He is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pace bowler. After becoming the side’s highest wicket-taker in the domestic season 2012-13, he was called forward to represent Deccan Chargers in 2012.</p>
<p>Reddy played some matches for the side and after disbanding the team, his contract was then renewed for Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2013. He only played a few matches that season as he sustained an injury.</p>
<p>On playing 31 IPL matches, he scored 280 runs at a strike rate of 145.08, and with the ball, he picked 18 wickets at an economy of 9.07. He was then retained by the side till 2016, as he played his last match against RCB. He was then obscured and played some domestic matches.</p>

<p>Dwaraka Ravi Teja is a right-handed opening batter of the Andhra Pradesh domestic team. He made his IPL debut for Deccan Chargers in 2008 against Kings XI Punjab.</p>
<p>Teja then continued his journey with Sunrisers Hyderabad. Although he is an opening order batter by position, he was made to bat at number eight in the first match against Pune where he just scored four runs.</p>

<p>Akshath Reddy is an opening batter from the state of Hyderabad. His impressive domestic record earned him a place in the 2012’s Deccan chargers side and he was named in the Sunrisers&#8217; squad for their team&#8217;s inaugural edition.</p>
<p>This 30-year-old batter opened the innings along with <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/virat-kohli-has-taken-a-pay-cut-in-the-larger-interest-of-the-rcb-franchise-parthiv-patel/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Parthiv Patel</strong></a> and made a calm 30-ball 27 in the first match. He has played a total of 12 IPL matches and has 164 runs to his name.</p>

<p>Parthiv Patel, the Indian player, was the opening batter and the wicket-keeper of the newly formed team of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He was a part of three teams since the inaugural IPL and he was retained by SRH from Deccan Chargers after its termination.</p>
<p>The left-handed batter was bowled in by <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/former-india-cricketer-ashok-dinda-to-be-provided-with-y-security-after-being-attacked-by-a-mob/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Ashok Dinda</strong></a> for 19 runs in the first match. <p>The Sri Lankan cricketing legend – Kumar Sangakkara &#8211; was the first captain of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Since he was the captain of the Deccan Chargers side, he was directly posted as the skipper in SRH too.</p>
<p>The southpaw managed to score just 15 runs in the first match but made the team win by 22 runs using his captaincy skills. He culminated his IPL career in 2013 in SRH’s attire after playing 71 matches and has 1687 runs with ten fifties.</p>
<p>Sangakkara was appointed as the President of the MCC in 2019. He was the first non-British member to hold the post. He contributes to the sport in all the ways he could, as he is also a commentator. In 2021, he was named as the Director of Cricket of Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.</p>

<p>Cameron White, the Australian middle-order-batter, is a hard-hitting player. He debuted in the IPL in 2008 for Royal Challengers Bangalore and after playing three seasons, he was bought by Deccan Chargers. He was then the second-highest-paid Aussie cricketer in the IPL after David Hussey.</p>
<p>White was the vice-captain of the side and captained the team in the absence of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/sanju-samsons-retention-was-no-brainer-he-is-long-term-leader-of-rr-kumar-sangakkara/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>Kumar Sangakkara</strong></a>. <p>Perera was the highest run-getter of the first match for SRH with 30 runs in 18 balls which included three fours and a six. With the ball, he also took two wickets giving away just 29 runs in four overs. He played a crucial part of the match-winning side.</p>
<p>In total, he played 37 IPL matches and has hit 422 runs with 31 wickets to his tally. This 32-year-old player played his last IPL match for Pune Supergiant in 2016. He recently retired from all the formats of international cricket, but he has been playing the other domestic leagues over the world.</p>
