India didn’t allow the Sri Lanka to go past the deficit as they bowled out the home side before Tea on day 4 for 386 runs and they fell 53 runs short and faced an innings defeat. Though the Lankans continued to put on a fight like on the penultimate day of the match like they did on Day 3 in the 2nd innings.
