Not so long ago, everyone wrote off Zimbabwe post their loss to Scotland but the African side has returned to turn all the pointers back by recording the highest successful run-chase on Sri Lankan soil in ODI cricket. A 161-run stand between Solomon Mire and Sean Williams laid the foundation of the 317-run chase which was finished off with disdain by Sikandar Raza and Malcolm Waller with another century stand. Earlier Sri Lanka posted 316/5 in their 50 overs with help of the fifties from Kusal Mendis, Upul Tharanga and Danushka Gunathilaka.
