54 – Sadeera Samarawickrama’s 54 is the lowest score among Sri Lanka’s top four in this game. This is only the 6th instance of a team’s top four scoring 54 and more runs in an ODI inning. Sri Lanka recorded first such instance when they played Pakistan in the 1998 Kimberly ODI.
97* – Angelo Mathews’ unbeaten 97 against South Africa in August was Sri Lanka’s highest individual ODI score in 2018. This is the first time since 1991 that no player scored an individual ODI ton for Sri Lanka in a calendar year. The 26 ODIs in 2018 are the most Sri Lanka played without recording an individual century in a calendar year.
137 – The 137-run opening partnership between Niroshan Dickwella and Samarawickrama is Sri Lanka’s highest partnership for any wicket in ODI format since consecutive double tons by Dickwella and Gunathilaka in July 2017 against Zimbabwe.

219 – The 219-run margin is the first ODI defeat for England in excess of 200-run margin. Their previous biggest ODI defeat in terms of runs was by 165 runs against the Windies in the 1994 Kingstown ODI while chasing 314.
This is the 4th biggest win in terms of runs for Sri Lanka in ODI cricket and their biggest at home surpassing the 210-run win over Canada in the 2011 CWC.
366/6 – Sri Lanka’s total of 366/6 is the 3rd highest ODI total made by any team without an individual century. South Africa posted 392/6 in 2007 against Pakistan with the highest individual of 88* while the Saffers also made 369/6 last year against Bangladesh with the best score of 91*.
