Nottinghamshire emerged as the champions of the NatWest T20 Blast 2017 after defeating Hampshire and Birmingham on the finals day in the semis and finals respectively. This was the first time Nottinghamshire bagged the England domestic T20 title. The tournament witnessed a revolutionary approach towards the format with the batsmen taking an all-out attack during the mandatory fielding restrictions and a total of 1292 sixes being hit in the course.

6/19 – Tim Bresnan’s bowling figures of 6/19 are the best in this tournament. His figures are also the 3rd best ever recorded in the English domestic T20 tournament.
13 – Number of catches Sam Hain has taken in this tournament; the most by any player. Only Aaron Finch (14 in 2014) and Steven Croft (14 in 2015) took more catches than Hain in an English domestic T20 tournament.
17 – The 17 individual centuries recorded in this season of the tournament are the most number of tons in any Twenty20 series/tournament. A total of 13 centuries were scored by the individuals in the 2015 edition of NatWest T20 Blast.
23 – Clint McKay’s 23 wickets in this tournament are the most for any player. His 23 wickets are also the joint-most for a Leicestershire player in an English domestic T20 tournament. Harry Gurney bagged 23 wickets for Leicester in 2011 season.
30 – Colin Ingram hit the most number of sixes in this year’s NatWest T20 Blast with 30 sixes. Ingram was the leading six hitter in 2016 edition as well with 29 maximums.
91 – Hampshire’s 91 is the lowest total in this tournament. They recorded it against Somerset at Southampton.
161 – Adam Lyth’s 161 for Yorkshire against Northamptonshire is the highest in English domestic T20 history. He broke the previous record of 158* runs by Brendon McCullum for Warwickshire in 2015 against Derbyshire.
204.43 – Alex Hales’ batting strike rate of 204.43 is the highest for any player with more than 500 runs in a Twenty20 series/tournament. In fact, he is the first player to strike at 200+ in a T20 series/tournament while scoring over 500 runs.
207 – The partnership stand of 207 runs between Joe Denly and Daniel Bell-Drummond for Kent against Essex is the first double century partnership ever recorded in the English domestic T20 tournament.
260/4 – Yorkshire’s total of 260/4 against Northamptonshire at Leeds is not only the highest total in this season but also the highest in England domestic T20 history. The previous highest is 254/3 by Gloucestershire against Middlesex in 2011.
559 – Rikki Wessels aggregated 559 runs in this tournament which is the most by any player. His tally is also the most for any Nottinghamshire player in an English domestic T20 tournament surpassing Alex Hales’ 544 in 2011.
