Stats: AB de Villiers' captaincy career in numbers

After spending nearly 20 months playing only limited-overs formats, AB de Villiers has announced his return to Test cricket from mid-October once he gets fit. In this process, the South African has stepped down from the position of captain of the ODI and T20I teams and will be available for selection in all the three formats as a player.

Here we look at his key numbers and records as captain in International cricket.

2 – Number of ducks de Villiers picked up as captain in ODIs; the joint fewest among the 17 players who have played 100 ODIs as captain. Imran Khan also bagged only two ODI ducks in his career as captain.
