Stats: Alex Hales blazes a 95-run knock off 30 balls in the NatWest T20 Blast

Alex Hales continued his devastating form in the NatWest T20 Blast as he struck 95 off just 30 balls against Durham as Nottinghamshire chased down the target of 184 runs in just 13.5 overs. Hales was unbeaten on 35 off 14 balls when rain interrupted their chase after 4.1 overs with the scoreboard reading 55/0. The rain break couldn’t obstruct the momentum of Hales’ innings as he hit three back to back fours after coming back.
In the 6th over, Hales took apart Ryan Pringle for 28 runs; it read- 2, 4, 6, 6, 4 and 6 as his side raced to 106 runs in the powerplay overs. The right-hander struck 3 sixes off Cameroon Steel in the following over to push on to 95. But his blistering innings with 9 fours and 9 sixes came to an end when he was caught behind off James Weighell.
