Stats: Best sixes/inns ratio in ODI cricket (Min 100 sixes)
Kieron Pollard, the Windies batsman, is on top of the ladder with a ratio of 1.16.
Indian batsman Rohit Sharma doesn’t pack a whole lot of punch in his strokes and has a bit of lazy elegance in his stroke-making. However, that doesn’t stop him from clearing the ropes with sheer ease. The Nagpur-born cricketer has often been seen hitting sixes of the front and the same is a testament to his stupendous abilities with the willow in hand.
The right-handed batter is currently playing the fourth contest of the five-match series against the Windies at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. In the encounter, the 31-year-old didn’t flatter to deceive by any stretch of the imagination and went on to score 162 superlative runs from 137 deliveries with the help of 20 boundaries and four hits into the stands.
