MS Dhoni had a day with milestones during the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo as the former Indian skipper featured in his 300th ODI game. He also became the most capped wicketkeeper in International cricket in the due course by featuring in his 467th game; one more than Mark Boucher (466).
Dhoni, who walked to bat after the dismissal of KL Rahul and scored an unbeaten 49 while sharing a century stand with Manish Pandey which helped India to finish at 375/5 in their 50 overs. By remaining unbeaten in this innings, Dhoni now holds the record for being unbeaten most times in ODI cricket. This was the 73rd time Dhoni remained unbeaten in ODIs, going past Shaun Pollock and Chaminda Vaas who remained not out on 72 occasions in this format.
