Kolkata Knight Riders batsman Chris Lynn has been in a scintillating form the IPL 10. He has plundered runs at will and has been a revelation for the Knight Riders at the top order. Lynn recently scored a brisk 84 in the match against the Kings XI Punjab. He was looking set for a century but was dismissed towards the fag end of the run chase as a result of a run out.
His dismissal mode of run out provided the 49th instance in the IPL history when a batsman got run out after scoring a fifty. The first ever player to get runout after scoring a fifty was Matthew Hayden for the Chennai Superkings. Hayden had scored 81 while opening for CSK against the Mumbai Indians in the inaugural edition of the tournament.
