Stats: Paul Gibb to Hashim Amla, players scoring 100 and 90 in a Test match
Instances
There have been 81 instances in Test cricket when players had scored centuries in both innings of a Test match. Every player’s dream is to score a century for his team but to get a century in both innings is like a dream come true and that shows us the potential of a player and consistency too.
But there are many players who are unlucky to get this milestone of scoring 100s in both innings of a Test match but they had scored 100 in any one of inning and 90 in other innings. Actually, there are 49 players who were unlucky to make 100s in both the innings of a Test match.
Recently concluded Test series between South Africa and England, Hashim Amla got out for 109 in 1st innings and in 2nd innings got out for 96 runs to Broad and there he missed his second innings century by just for runs and certainly that is cricket is all about.
Here, we have presented those 49 instances when players scored a century and 90 in a same Test match.
