After a couple of failures in the previous two games, Virat Kohli turned up strong in the 5th ODI at Kingston and played a captain’s knock with an unbeaten century in the run-chase against the home side to complete a series win. With this hundred, Kohli became only the 4th batsman in ODI history to score 28 centuries.
Till date, only 6 players have scored 25 and more centuries in ODI cricket out of those only Virat and Hashim Amla (25) are the active players. Sachin Tendulkar is firmly placed at the top with 49 ODI centuries and Virat needs 5-6 good years in this format to beat Tendulkar and become the first player ever to smash 50 ODI tons.
