Due to the outbreak of coronavirus, many cricket matches have been cancel or postponed. As a result of this, many cricketers are staying at home rather than going out on the field. The Indian Premier League which was scheduled to start after April 15 is now at risk with Indian government now announcing a 21-day lockdown in the country. This lockdown will go on till April 15, putting the IPL 2020 at a risk. Though, there hasn’t been any official word from the BCCI.

Ravindra Jadeja, who is contracted with Chennai Super Kings, on Wednesday decided to upload a post on Instagram in an attempt to spread awareness. Several of the Indian cricketers had already done it and it was only fitting the Jadeja joined them. But, the rockstar, as they call him, has his own style in everything.

The all-rounder uploaded an old clip of him running out a batsman in a One-day international. He urged his fans to stay safe and stay home during these desperate time. He also advised them by saying ki don’t get run out in Hindi. The caption of the post was, “Stay safe, stay at home. Runout matt hona @foxcricket @cricketcomau”. Check out the post here:

The incident from the video is from the 1st ODI between Australia and India from the ODI series of 2019. The match was being played at the Adelaide Oval. In the video, the batsman in question is Australian left-hander Usman Khawaja. Kuldeep Yadav bowls a delivery and Khawaja nudges it down and runs for a single.

Meanwhile, Jadeja comes and picks up the ball from his left hand and throws it to the non-striker’s end. The ball hits the stumps directly and Khawaja is given out. It was quite a turning point in that match as a partnership was building between Khawaja and Shaun Marsh before this happened.

Recently, former Australian batsman Dean Jones revealed that according to him Ben Stokes and Ravindra Jadeja are the two best fielders in the entire world. Upon being asked who were the best fielders in the world on Twitter, the former Aussies did not hesitate to give an answer and choose Jadeja and Stokes.
