Steve Smith rarely fails to make an impact when he is on the cricket field. When he is not busy piling on the runs with his willow, he takes stunning catches and saving runs more often than not. On some occasions, he also rolls his arms to bowl some vital overs for his team. All in all, it does not matter whether Smith has the bat in his hands or not, he just loves to stay in action.
Thus, it is safe to assume that Smith loves almost everything about the game. Well, it turns out the former Australia skipper does not love everything about cricket and recently made the revelation. In a chat with his teammate Nathan Lyon, Smith revealed the one thing that he hates about the gentlemen’s game.

Ahead of the second Test against India, Steve Smith and Lyon sat down for an interesting freewheeling chat. 7Cricket, one of the official broadcasters of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy, shared the video of the same on Twitter. Out of the several questions, the one that stood out was when Lyon asked his teammate about the ‘least favourite thing’ about cricket.
But just like others, Lyon too thought that Smith just loves everything about the game as he guessed that the answer to the question would be “Nothing”. However, Smith came up with an interesting answer. The batting star, who is currently the top-ranked Test batsman, revealed that he does not like packing his kit bag, saying: “Least favourite thing about playing cricket is packing my kit at the end of the day.”
Here is a clip of the interview:
🗣 What's the best ball you've bowled to get a wicket in Test cricket?
Lyon: "Bowling Sachin Tendulkar through the gate at Chennai was pretty cool."
Smith: "Yeah I've got Sachin in my pocket as well, caught bat pad."Team Bonding with these two is great 😂 pic.twitter.com/aOccmbQ58J
