Former Australia skipper Steve Smith is likely to return to action during the upcoming season of Indian Premier League (IPL). Currently serving the one-year ban imposed on him due to his role in the ball-tampering scandal, Smith had not played in the last edition of the IPL after the BCCI refused to grant him the permission.
