The ‘El Classico’ of IPL 2021 is right here and will set action at Delhi. The most awaited clash of IPL will see Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians locking horns with each other in match no. 27 of the season. Both the champion teams are having a different ride in the season so far. While CSK are ruling the points table with 5 wins, MI are struggling with 3 wins and as many losses in the season till now.

All the departments of CSK have been shining bright and have contributed their best in the season. The opening pair has been in the perfect rhythm, the bowling department also seems well balanced. Therefore, no major change will be expected in CSK’s squad when they will face Rohit Sharma and his men on May 1, 2021.

There isn’t any doubt about the fact that the opening pair of CSK is moving up with a golden touch and the tone they had set in the last few games got yellow army over the line. The youngster was backed by the team well enough and he has proved every reason behind the same. Du Plessis has fired the opposition with three consecutive fifties and the same will be expected from him in the upcoming games.

The middle order of the CSK is equipped with all the experience and strength. Suresh Raina has been doing a decent job for the team and played a quick cameo in the last outing against SRH too. Rayudu hasn’t got many chances with the bat of late but would be expected to shoulder responsibilities as and when required.

MS Dhoni has also shown some glimpses of big hits in the season and fans can only expect to see more of him this way. Apart from that, his ultimate guidance and classy gloves work can keep the team going in the toughest of situations in the season.

All-rounders (Moeen Ali, Ravindra Jadeja, and Sam Curran)

Though Curran hasn’t got much to do with the bat in CSK’s matches so far, he has been doing a fair job in the bowling department. Not much has to be said about Ravindra Jadeja who has been firing in all the departments of the game. His 37 runs in the last over against RCB won’t be forgotten in the season at least. Both of them will be backed by the management for the next games.

Moeen Ali has also been doing his share of the job well for the team. The new member of the team has been playing at a strike rate of 155.78 and has scored 148 runs in the season so far. He will be most likely be seen in CSK’s clash against MI.

Bowlers (Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, and Lungi Ngidi)

The pace section will be led by the team’s go-to man with the new ball Deepak Chahar, who has stood up on various occasions. Shardul Thakur would be the next pacer for CSK in their next clash as he has also been doing a fair job and can do some duty with the bat too if required.

Lungi Ngidi hasn’t got all the games with CSK up till now, but he has made a point to shine bright whenever given a chance. Last time too, he bowled without conceding many runs and picked two wickets to push the game up.
