The 23rd match of the Indian Premier League is all set to take place between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad. Both CSK and SRH have been marching so far with contrasting fates as the three-time champions have lost once while the Hyderabad have won once. With CSK are back yet again in their top-class form, it will be a hard task for David Warner and his men to have the upper hand in the upcoming clash.

The yellow franchise is currently placed at top of the points table and even has a shining NRR of 1.61. They have been looking sturdy in all their departments and MS Dhoni’s captaincy has also been getting along perfectly with the team. Hence, no major changes will be expected in their lot when they will stand up against SRH at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi

CSK Predicted Playing XI against SRH-match 23

Openers (Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis)

The in-form openers of CSK, Du Plessis, and Gaikwad have been constantly getting a fine start for the team. The youngster after struggling in the opening few games is back in rhythm and has been taking the charge well for the team. Du Plessis, who has fired with back-to-back high scores will be expected to maintain his class for the team in the next game.

Raina and Rayudu displayed an average batting show in their last outing against RCB. Both have been too experienced and senior batters of the yellow army and would be further expected to bolster their middle order in the next games.

Dhoni didn’t get to do much with the bat in the last game but his intelligent cricketing mind and decision-making always remain priceless for the yellow team. Apart from that, his gloves work always comes on point for his team.

All-rounders (Ravindra Jadeja, Dwayne Bravo, and Sam Curran)

What Jadeja did in the last game against RCB was no less than a superman show. The skilled cricketer aced all the departments of the game. However, his 37 in the last over, came as a cherry on the cake and stunned each and all. CSK can only wish to see more of him in the same manner in the next games.

Dwayne Bravo and Curran are stylish all-rounders of CSK and have proven themselves for the team. Curran took one wicket in the last game and can further shine up well in games. Dwayne is also capable of playing a blistering knock during the required situation.

Bowlers (Shardul Thakur, Deepak Chahar, and Imran Tahir)

Thakur displayed the best economy for the CSK in the last game and picked a wicket alongside. Though Chahar missed a wicket last time and didn’t show up to well, he is the magic man of the yellow team with the new ball. He can be expected to bring up the top game in further games.

The ace spinner of CSK, Tahir got the chance to land in the team for the first time in IPL 2021 and he didn’t disappoint at all. Apart from picking two wickets, he displayed top-level fitness on the field by effecting a direct hit. If overseas combinations allow, he will be most likely seen in CSK’s next game.
