Back in 2014, a certain player by the name of Stuart Binny recorded bowling figures of 4.4-2-4-6. After four years, the numbers still remain as the best by an Indian fast bowler in ODIs. India were reeling in that match at the Sher-E-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka. The Men in Blue, captained by Suresh Raina, were bowled out for 105 inside 26 overs after which Binny came to his team’s rescue.
He went on to play 14 ODIs, 6 Tests and 3 T20Is for his national team, but couldn’t hold on to his position owing to lackluster performances. His only two international half-centuries came versus England and Zimbabwe respectively. His last match for India was a T20I against the Windies back at Lauderhill back in 2016 where the likes of Evin Lewis picked the bones out of him.
Binny gets ridiculed again
He took part in this year’s IPL as well, playing for the Rajasthan Royals. He was picked by the franchise at his base price of INR 50 lakhs. The all-rounder only got opportunities in 7 matches in which he managed 44 runs at an average of 8.80 and a highest score of 22. He couldn’t make any impact with the leather too having bowled only a couple of overs for 33 runs at an economy of 16.50.
Meanwhile, he and his better-half Mayanti Langer have been a recipient of a fair amount of flak from the supporters. In the match versus the Windies back in 2016, Lewis took him apart for 31 runs in one over with five sixes after which the fans laid on to Mayanti and Stuart. Mayanti came back in a strong reply thereafter. However, Twitter is in no mood to spare Stuart Binny even after the incident.
Recently, the Rajasthan Royals posted a video of his interview and the fans trolled him left, right and center.

Can't bat, can't bowl but still he is an allrounder.

For me, he is still one of the best allrounder available in India. He must be selected for Test series vs England & Australia in 2018. He can bat quite well, bowl beautiful outswingers & brilliant fielder. Virat must look after him. @imVkohli @RaviShastriOfc @MayantiLanger_B
