Sunil Gavaskar surprises everyone as he performs the Naagin Dance in the commentary box

The Naagin Dance became quite famous among the cricketing circles during the Nidahas Trophy. Veteran Bangladesh batsman Mushfiqur Rahim was spotted performing the dance after his team chased down 215 against the Lankans. After this game, there were various meme and trolls about this dance.

But, this didn’t stop the Bangladesh players from performing this dance. They were often spotted doing the Naagin Dance in all the games of the tournament. Things got much funnier when the Sri Lankan players also performed this dance in their second game against Bangladesh.

After winning the second game against the Lankans, the entire Bangladesh team was spotted performing this dance in the middle of the ground. The team became a butt of jokes in the social media after this incident. Also, Harbhajan Singh shared a video on Instagram in which he dedicated a Bichchu dance to troll the team. However, the dance form became very popular and many tried their hand at this dance.

Gavaskar does the Naagin dance

Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar also couldn’t resist himself from performing this dance. During the finals of the Nidahas Trophy between India and Bangladesh, Sunil Gavaskar performed the Naagin Dance in the commentary box. The fans were shocked to see this completely different avatar of Sunil Gavaskar and were quite surprised.

As Sunny G performed his dance moves, his co-commentators Brett Lee and Charu Sharma were left in splits. Lee couldn’t stop laughing and was amused to see this. There were mixed reactions to this dance from Sunil Gavaskar. While the Indian and the Sri Lankan fans loved the dance performance, the Bangladesh fans didn’t look amused. He was trolled severely by them and some of them also termed him a joker.

Bangladesh lost the finals of the Nidahas Trophy to India by 4 wickets. Dinesh Karthik was the man of the moment for India as he finished the game after hitting a six off the last ball of the innings.
