West Indies star Sunil Narine and his wife Anjellia have been blessed with a baby boy. The couple welcomed the new member of their family on Monday (February 1). Earlier in December last year, Narine and his wife had revealed that they were all set to welcome the baby boy after a gender-reveal ceremony in Trinidad and Tobago.

A couple of months before that, Narine had first revealed the news of the couple expecting another addition to their family through an Instagram post. In his latest Instagram post, the star spinner shared the good news with his fans and well-wishers as wishes poured in from all corners. Narine shared an adorable picture of the newborn baby and wrote that he fills a special place in his and his wife’s heart.

“You fill a place in our heart that we never knew was empty, we have seen all of God’s goodness and grace in one tiny face. We love you unconditionally -Dad & Mom”, wrote Sunil Narine with the photo of his son.

Sunil Narine in the UAE

Sunil Narine is currently in the UAE, plying his trade in the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League. The West Indies spinner is plying his trade for Deccan Gladiators in the competition. In three games so far, Narine has picked up 3 wickets. As far as the Gladiators are concerned, they have managed to win just one of their three games so far.

Prior to playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Narine had played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. It was a season to forget for the spinner as he failed to make a big impression. In ten games, he managed to pick up only 5 wickets while scoring 121 runs. He also missed several games in the tournament after being reported by on field umpires for his bowling action. Meanwhile, KKR have retained their long-serving player for the upcoming IPL season. Narine has been with the franchise since 2012.
