India international Suresh Raina has been away from the national team for quite some time now. He last donned the India jersey in 2018 during the ODI series between India and England. A poor show with the willow led to Raina being dropped from the Indian side.
Despite being on the sidelines since 2018, the left-hander is still hopeful of paving his way into the national side. Raina, an integral part of Chennai Super Kings, will be aiming to deliver in the UAE and increasing his chances of an international comeback.
Ardent CSK fans are waiting to see Raina, as well as skipper MS Dhoni, to brace the field in IPL 2020. Similar to Raina, Dhoni also has been away from the field since India’s oust in 2019 World Cup. Both the veterans are expected to deliver in this year’s IPL and return back to the national setup soon.
