The territory of Kashmir has been a significant bone of contention among India and Pakistan. Both nations have had some heated altercations surrounding the occupancy by the neighboring countries. The city has been a hotbed of terrorism and political turmoil where the commoners and the innocent residents become the victim.

Recently, Shahid Afridi expressed his concerns over the appalling situation in the Indian-occupied part of Kashmir. He mentioned that voices of independence and determination are being clamped and bashed the United Nations and the corning persons for not taking any appropriate actions. He put his message on Twitter after which Gautam Gambhir, the captain of the Delhi Daredevils bashed him left and right.

Raina follows suit after Gambhir

Most recently another Indian cricketer in Suresh Raina replied to the message by the former Pakistani cricketer. Though his message wasn’t as brutal as that of Gambhir, he was crisp and concise in delivering the appropriate message to Shahid Afridi. The left-handed batsman reverted to Afridi by saying that the Pakistan Army shouldn’t carry out terrorist activities in the state. He wrote

“Kashmir is an integral part of India and will remain so always. Kashmir is the pious land where my forefathers were born. I hope @SAfridiOfficial bhai asks Pakistan Army to stop terrorism and proxy war in our Kashmir. We want peace, not bloodshed and violence”

Here is Raina’s message

As per the Kashmir security officials, 12 militants have recently been killed and it has been described as the largest anti-militant operation this year. Following, the action, there have been a massive violence between the security forces and the anti-government protestors. Kashmir has been divided ever since India and Pakistan’s independence in 1947. Thereafter, the two nations have been involved in multiple wars, which have only worsened their relationship with the passage of time.
